THE R ATIONALE
We are living in an uncertain world where
social isolation and personal
disconnectedness due to the pandemic and
technological advancements, has impacted
Brimbank youth’s mental and physical health,
self-esteem and confidence, career prospects,
and the development of 21st century personal,
social and work ready skills, in a negative way.
The Neighbourhood House programs in the
Brimbank municipality, have been often the
only opportunity that vulnerable people in our
community can come together to be
educated, inspired, guided, and feel a sense
of belonging.
The BRIMBANK LIVE project was designed to
have participants maintain a connectedness
with their community, and fuel and showcase
passions, through the production and
presenting of live and pre-recorded radio
content that was broadcast locally and
globally.
