• Provided participants with an opportunity to share their experiences, ideas, thoughts, and
vision for the future
• Showcased talents and original ideas and content, on a real-world media platform
• Provided participants with an opportunity to be uniquely exposed to the success traits of
community role models
• Provided participants with an opportunity to investigate, educate, report on, and broadcast
key messages about issues that are important to them, and their local and broader
community
• Forged real world connections by having participants interview trailblazers, influencers, and
high profile leaders in fields that they are passionate about
• Had participants appreciate the power of a modern real-world media platform, and the
responsibility that comes with working in the media.
PROJEC T PHASES
PHASE 1
Phase 1 of the project involved BRIMBANK LIVE WEEK where
participants were tasked with the responsibility to produce up to
50 hours of live and on-demand radio content.
PHASE 2
A continuation of the program into a second phase was subject to
participant interest and willingness to further develop their skills in
presenting and producing their content.
Due to sufficient interest from Phase 1 participants, Phase 2 –
BRIMBANK LIVE - FRIDAYS LIVE was scheduled each Friday on LIVE
FM between August and December 2020.
