Section 5. By unanimous vote of the Board of Directors, any member may be suspended from the TWGA Cactus Gems for good cause, including but not limited to indebtedness, violation of rules, handicap infractions, or any conduct that results in adverse reflection on the TWGA Cactus Gems. In the event a member is suspended, that member shall forfeit her right to vote and shall be suspended from the activities of the TWGA Cactus Gems for a period of time designated by the Board according to the merits of each case.
ARTICLE IV – MEETINGS
Section 1. The membership will meet a minimum of two times per year during the November through May time period unless prevented by ex- traordinary circumstances. These meetings may be held in conjunction with a regular golf day or event. The Board of Directors will meet as deter- mined by the President to conduct the business of the TWGA Cactus Gems.
Section 2. Procedure. “Roberts’ Rules of Order, Revised” shall be the final authority as to parliamentary procedure at all meetings of the members, insofar as they do not conflict with any provisions of the By-Laws.
Section 3. Quorum. Twenty-five percent of the total membership shall constitute a quorum at any meeting of the TWGA Cactus Gems.
ARTICLE V – LEADERSHIP
Section 1. Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the TWGA Cactus Gems consists of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer.
The immediate Past President shall serve as Parliamentarian for the TWGA Cactus Gems Board of Directors and chair the Nominating Committee.
Section 2. Term of Office
The term of office for each Board member will be one year and commence on June 1.
Section 3. Duties of the Directors
a. President: Shall schedule and preside at all Board and Membership meetings of the TWGA Cactus Gems and shall have general supervision over the affairs of the Association.
