B. Rules Coordinator:
1. Keeps the membership informed of rules changes.
2. Promotes the knowledge of and adherence to the Rules of Golf.
C. Thursday Games Committee:
1. Is responsible for selecting weekly “games” and special events on
2. Ladies’ Day and assisting the Pro Shop relative to the details of such
games.
3. Maintains records of participation and feedback for future reference.
D. Arizona Golf Association (AGA) Representative:
1. Serves as the liaison and representative between the AGA and the
TWGA Cactus Gems.
2. Is familiar with the AGA website and relays appropriate information
to TWGA Cactus Gems.
E. New Member Coordinator:
1. Serves as the liaison between the TWGA Cactus Gems and the TGC
Membership Coordinator.
2. Welcomes new members and facilitates the process for membership
application to the TWGA Cactus Gems.
ARTICLE VII – ELECTIONS
Section 1. Nominating Committee
At least six weeks prior to the Closing Day Annual Meeting, the immediate Past President shall chair and appoint a Nominating Committee consisting of four other members of the TWGA Cactus Gems who are not current Board Members. This Committee shall nominate candidates to fill Board positions for the succeeding year.
Section 2. Procedure for Nominations
At least five weeks prior to the Closing Day Annual Meeting, this Commit- tee shall submit to the Board the names of the nominees it has elected.
At least four weeks prior to the Closing Day Annual Meeting, a list of all nominees shall be distributed to each TWGA Cactus Gems member, and a copy of the list shall be posted on the Bulletin Board in the Ladies’ Locker Room.
Other members in good standing may be nominated by a petition that has been signed by at least twenty-five other TWGA Cactus Gems and submitted to the Board at least two weeks prior to the Closing Day annual Meeting.
