b. Vice President: Shall in the absence of the President, perform her duties and shall assist the President, as requested, in the supervision of the affairs of the TWGA Cactus Gems. Specifically, she will serve as the coordinator for all of the Cactus Gems’ tournaments and events and serve as the Cactus Gems’ representative on the Golf Calendar Committee.
  c. Secretary: Shall keep records of meetings and perform other du- ties which may be assigned by the Directors. Shall distribute no- tices of TWGA Cactus Gems meetings to all members, as provided in the Bylaws, and shall prepare all correspondence except per- taining to the office of the Treasurer. Shall post the minutes of all membership meetings on the Bulletin Board in the Ladies’ Locker Room.
 d. Treasurer: Shall collect and discharge the funds, as directed by the TWGA Cactus Gems Board of Directors and shall prepare an annual budget and sign all checks for the Association. Shall keep the accounts in books belonging to the TWGA Cactus Gems, and such books shall be open for inspection at all times. In the ab- sence of the Treasurer and the Assistant Treasurer, the President shall be empowered to sign checks in the name of the TWGA Cactus Gems.
 e. Assistant Treasurer: Shall familiarize herself with the Treasurer’s job and assist the Treasurer, as requested, in the performance of her duties and sign checks in the absence of the Treasurer.
 ARTICLE VI – STANDING COMMITTEES
Section 1. The Standing Committees are: Handicap, Thursday Games, Rules and Arizona Golf Association (AGA) Representative, and others as the President may deem necessary. The chairpersons of these committees are appointed by the President and approved by the Board of Directors. The committees may be consolidated and/or require only a Coordinator depending on the duties to be performed.
 Section 2. Duties of Committees, Coordinators and Representatives:
A. Handicap Coordinator:
1. Assumes responsibility for handicap revisions, monitoring the post-
 ing of Thursday game scores and selective tournament scores, and
 assessing penalties.
2. Works with the TGC Handicap Committee to maintain the integrity of
