In fact, “Paradise Café” is not your typical lyric video. It is an
animated video with a sequence and different things going
on through it. As I said, it was inspired by this infamous 80s
videogame. Although it was officially restricted to anyone
below 18 – given to its “explicit” content - that’s precisely
the age range where it had more popularity, of course,
and it is part of the memories of kids from mid 80s to early
90s over here, to this day. Actually, the computer filmed in
the intro scene – the only one with “real” footage and not
animation - is owned by our guitarist Rick. We think this is
one of the best we’ve ever written. There is so much going
on through the song – different dynamics, huge choruses,
piano and synth layers -, but still all in the name of a pure
rock and roll song. Pure but not simple, in this case. We
just had to put it as the opener of the album.

Your album was mastered in Los Angeles, California, by multi platinum award winning engineer Phil Brewster
(Sebastian Bach, The Darkness, Halestorm, Red Hot Chili Peppers). How did you hook up with him and how
satisfied are you with the job?
Phil was referred to me by a friend of mine, Boa, who was the bass player of a Sunset Strip-era band, Alleycat Scratch. In
the early 90s they recorded, in my opinion, one of the best sleaze rock albums ever. Had they been noticed 3 or 4 years
before and I’m sure they would have been easily picked by a major label and probably sold millions. So I reached out to
Phil and he was totally into working with us. It’s always good to work with someone with “fresh” and, of course, specialized,
ears when you reach the final stages of shaping an album. He was a totally cool guy to deal with, he easily understood
what we were after and surely brought an extra-value to this album. We’re really proud of the way it sounds!

What known bands have you played with?
Well, living in the westernmost country of Europe, and not a big one too, doesn’t help to have many bands touring here.
In the latest years we had huge bands like Kiss, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Guns n’ Roses, Aerosmith, etc but promoters don’t
give a damn about having local acts in these shows. Having said that, it’s funny that our second show ever was as guest
act for Paul Di’Anno, of Iron Maiden fame. A few months later we also supported House Of Lords in our hometown Lisbon.
More recently, we’ve played with Chris Homes from WASP and Grim Reaper, a hell of a NWOBHM band that I love.

Please tell us about any festivals you have appeared at.
Actually, this show with Chris Holmes and Grim Reaper was part of the 25th edition of Hard Metal Fest, the oldest rock/
metal fest happening in Portugal. In the last years we’ve played some shows in Spain too.

What plans do you have for 2019?
We are very optimistic that the new album will take us to a new level. We are already noticing that our music is reaching
more people, worldwide. We have received growing interest from fans and promoters in Europe and in the US and we’re
definitely looking forward to make our music reach more people than ever with “Less Ain’t More” and also to take it to more
       stages abroad.

Thank you for taking time for this interview.
