Hello Rob from LOUD ‘N’ NASTY and welcome to Rocknation. Congrats to your new song “Stand Strong” was
this a new song just written or a unreleased song from the past?
Hello and thanks! Chris and I wrote the foundation to Stay Strong many years ago and we just jumped in where we left it.
The chorus and 90% of the song was already done so we arranged it and added some missing words and new energy
to it.

Who wrote the music and lyric writing for this song?
Chris and I wrote the music and I wrote the lyrics. That is pretty much how we always do. Often I just lay down some
temporally lyrics on the demo and many times that will end up as the ground for the final lyrics for the song.

Where did you record this track at and how was it mastered?
We recorded it in our own studio Hellhound Recordings. For a while we had an idea of letting someone do the mixing but
when we recorded it we just knew how we would like the sound so Chris gave it a shot and we sat down till we had the
sound we wanted for this song. The Mastering was done by Fredrik Wester at Audio Dome Studios.

Who are your influences and how have they affected your writing?
Oh there are so many. Most of the influences are from the 80’s and the hair metal era. Bands like Motley Crue, Ratt, Kiss,
Alice Cooper and W.A.S.P are probably the bands that influenced us the most. We have never tried to hide who inspire
us. We would not make music at all today if it wasn’t for those bands. So they and many other bands have affected the
way we write music and also the image on those band is something that made an big impact on us.

Are you currently writing more songs?
I write songs all the time and Chris and I have some LOUD ‘N’ NASTY songs that we have lay down the ground for. We
also got tons of demo stuff on old hard drives that we did years ago.

The band recently performed in concert, please tell us about that.
Funny thing is that it started with
some friends who triggered us to
start playing. We did 4-5 songs at a
surprise party in October 2018 and
we had allot of fun playing together
again, so when we the same night
was asked to play a full show we
were thrilled to do it. So on April
27th 2019 we did the first show
in over a decade and this was a
sold out club show in Grebbestad
Sweden.
