You will receive a professional service from an ARLA Propertymark Protected agent, but if things go wrong the ARLA Propertymark Client Money Protection Scheme (CMP) will step in and reimburse tenants and landlords (Subject to Limits).
All ARLA Propertymark agents are kept up to date with complex legislative changes and best practice.
We adhere to a nationally recognised Code of Practice.
We submit independently audited accounts to Propertymark annually.
We are members of an independent redress scheme.
We hold the required level of Professional Indemnity insurance.
We are also fully licensed member of Rent Smart Wales...
Under the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, there are new legal obligations on landlords and agents of private residential properties in Wales. The regulation came into force on the 23rd November 2015 and is known as the Rent Smart Wales Scheme.
We at Fresh are a fully licensed agent through the Rent Smart Wales scheme. This means that all relevant staff have passed the required exams, the business has passed the required checks and we have paid the substantial licence fee. By doing so we can act as managing agents for our clients’ properties. The only action required by our managed landlord clients is to register themselves and their properties, which can be done online for a cost of £33.50.
For landlords wishing to use our ‘Finders Fee’ Service you will need to gain a licence. In order to gain a licence you will need to complete a suitable landlord course by one of the approved bodies. This can cost approx. £120. You will then need to obtain the licence, which can be achieved online and will cost £144. Hard copy applications will cost £186.
