5. Recognize the
                                         culture

                                                           1. Please include
                  4. Describe why your name and
                  you are valuable job title

                   3. Take control of 2. Describe your
                      your body

                                     Professionally

            2. Describe your objective.
After providing the necessary information, you can follow up with
something personal to you, depending on the context. If you’re
attending a networking event, you can begin by discussing your
objectives for attending the event, such as meeting interesting
like-minded people or learning more about the industry. When
introducing yourself to an interviewer, you can briefly explain why
you’re interviewing for that particular job or why you’re a worthy
            candidate for it.

            3. Take control of your body language
Your body language conveys information about your mood and
intent. Control your body language to appear calm and professional
in any situation. A firm handshake is an example of appropriate body
language when meeting a new person. Maintaining eye contact with
the person speaking is also considered polite. This demonstrates that
you are paying attention to the conversation. If you’re unfamiliar with
the customs, observe the body language of those around you and
            model your behavior after them.
