B. MEASURING MASS
The mass of an object is the amount of matter it contains. Matter is anything
that takes up space and has mass. Examples of living matter are plants and
animals while examples of non-living matter are rocks, air and water. The
International base unit of mass is kilogram(kg). Other smaller units are
grams and milligram. There are 1000 gram in a kilogram of matter.
