Linda Beidle

Linda has been a Girl Scout since 1947. She was a Counselor
in Training at Camp Julia Crowell, President of the Senior Inner
Troop Council of all of Cleveland in 1954-1955, a Senior troop
leader at age 21, and a Brownie, Junior, Cadette leader in years
to follow. She served as Cookie Chairwoman, Service Unit
Director and as a Delegate for Euclid. Linda was also a troop
camp trainer and day camp nurse. Now she is the head of
Golden Trefoil Group A, has been a day camp craft person and
currently serves on the Alumnae Steering Committee. She has
received the Thanks Badge.

Phyllis Bement

Phyllis helped with her daughter’s Brownie Troop in 1964. She led
Junior, Cadette and Senior troops and traveled to Williamsburg,
Knoxville’s World’s Fair, Colorado and camped twice a year. She
has been an adult member for 48 years. Phyllis has traveled
to 3 conventions and thirty years ago traveled to the Buffalo
Council to see their craft show and helped with ours. They
are still friends and visit twice a year. She planned trips for the
Alumni Group including Alaska, Mexico and the Panama Canal.
She is on the Alumnae Steering Committee and is a lifetime
member. She proudly provides service including refurbishing
Amity House at Camp Hilaka; stripping 50 years of wallpaper,
flling holes and painting.
