Under Marty’s leadership; juniors, cadets and seniors camped
at Mohican Wilderness, canoed the French River in Canada,
went to the cadet roundup, worked every month at Highland
View Hospital and camped at least two weekends a year at Julia
Crowell. Marty was on the committee for “Something Special,”
Gold award’s selection and Wider Opportunities selections
committees. She has received the Thanks Badge and the
Association Pin. She is a member of the Steering Committee
of NEO and of Golden Trefoil Group A. She has attended two
national conventions. Marty loves nature and the outdoors and
could often be found at Sealy Cabin teaching crafts or outdoor
training. Cats and owls are her favorite things.

Barb is the organizer of all organizers. She has the true spirit of
Girl Scouts—cheerfulness, generosity, kindness, and of course
friendliness that shows the world what the meaning of Girl
Scouting can be. She is a wonderful friend.
