Gunta Douglas

Gunta had a milestone birthday this year, which is cause for
celebration. I know this because I have the good fortune to
serve on the Fund Development Committee with this dedicated
volunteer. Gunta is a straight shooter ensuring we are constantly
looking for ways to improve. She has a strong desire for our girls
to be afforded the opportunities and advantages that come
from actively participating in Girl Scouting here in North East
Ohio. Gunta’s most recent activity was chairing our Wall of
Honor fundraising efforts. She was perfect, not only because
she chose to raise her hand and volunteered, but because
she understood the importance of creating a way to provide
genuine, heartfelt, acknowledgement from those nominating
our tributes for generously giving of themselves, sharing their
talents and fnancially supporting GSNEO. Speaking for those
who have beneftted from her commitment to fund raising and
her passion for Girl Scouting, THANK YOU, Gunta.

Gunta has spent years in key positions, devoting services
to LEGSC. Helping young women develop self esteem and
competence was her passion. She demonstrated leadership
in management development with volunteers and the
management of staff. May she be forever remembered and
honored for her outstanding service and dedication to the Girl
Scouts of North East Ohio, volunteers and leaders.
