Human Resources
For OCONUS positions, Vysnova recruits and hires according to host country government laws and
customs. Most OCONUS positions will be filled by the local payroll company with residents, using PM
guidance by providing the PD, etc. The PM should collaborate with the local payroll company for
guidance on adhering to host country laws and customs when conducting interviews. Vysnova
corporate management, in collaboration with the PM, and using local market salary data and project
budgets, will determine fair and equitable compensation ranges for each position. Negotiations,
when applicable, will be conducted by the local payroll company. Reference verification and Offers
for OCONUS positions are made by the local payroll company.
Employment Contract
Standard US Employment Agreement
For US employees, Vysnova’s standard employment agreement is executed by the HR Manager,
signed by the employee, and countersigned by Vysnova’s CEO, prior to their date of hire. Vysnova
HR is responsible for coordinating the approval process for the final Employment Agreement in
consultation with the Contracts Administrator (CA) and the PM.
OCONUS Co-Employment Agreements
OCONUS employees will execute their employment agreement provided by the local payroll
company. The payroll company is responsible for coordinating the approval process for the final
Employment Agreement in consultation with Counsel and PM. Vysnova Corporate HR is responsible
for ensuring a copy of all co-employment agreements are maintained. When appropriate, the
employee will complete a Vysnova co-employment agreement. The employee will keep one original
and the other original will be filed in his/her personnel file.
Consultancy
For staff hired as consultants, please refer to Contracting Section.
Onboarding and Training of New Employees (CONUS)
On-Boarding
Upon acceptance of an offer of employment via the GetHired portal, Vysnova HR will initiate an on-
boarding request to the new employee, who will complete all required documents prior to their first
day. HR will maintain a New Hire On-Boarding Checklist for each employee, provided to each
department involved, and will require signatures from each task owner upon completion. HR will
send an equipment and software set-up request to the IT department, copying the PM for awareness.
While most aspects of new employee On-Boarding is conducted by HR with support and participation
of other departments, the PM will be kept apprised of the on-boarding initiation and completion.
No later than 2 business days prior to the employee’s start date, the PM is to provide an agenda for
the employee’s first day to HR, with the first 30 minutes set aside for HR to complete on-boarding.
This agenda will be provided to the employee in a welcome email, sent by Vysnova HR.
