Panther Pride
Showing school spirit brings the energy for what
is coming ahead.
This year’s Spirit week was the first
step towards the return of a normal school
year in the midst of a pandemic. For the
Senior class, after 4 years of hard work,

their first of many spirit weeks.

Spirit Week allows students to express
themselves in fun and unique ways. On
pajamas, bringing the comforts of jammies
into the school day. Tuesday was Teacher
Day, where students imitated their favorite
teachers. Mr. Thek and his yellow
cross-country shirt were a particular
favorite. On Wacky Wednesday,
multitudes of strange and unique outfits
could be seen strolling around school;
everything from inflatable ballerina
costumes to gentlemen in beautiful
dresses. Thursday encouraged individual
classes to shine with their class colors, with
Freshmen in tie dye or neon, Sophomores
in pink, Juniors in red/maroon and Seniors
in blue and black. Friday was the final day
of Spirit Week, during which students
celebrated their Panther Pride with the blue
and gold of Yokota High School.

sparkly mask.
