PowderPuff

A time in a day where the energies of each grade can be passed onto those
participating in the event to give good fun to everyone.

Powderpuff is a long-standing tradition at YHS where the boys take
on the role of Cheerleaders, don their cheerleading outfits, and cheer
for girls’ flag football teams. Encouraging the fans to cheer and
demonstrating their skills, the Cheerleaders show their excitement
and spirit for the games. The girls’ grade level teams wore their class
colors and with faces painted, they played football with athletic skill,
passing the football, catching passes, and running down the field.
