1. Getting a hands on experience, Katie Appelhans, 12, takes

Granny may scare the students outside of health science, but
for these future nurses, she's an essential learning tool.

The Career and Technical Education classes

Through CTE, many students are able to
build on their passion and contribute
something to their school.
At Humphreys, there's chefs who have a

handy with a camera, and nurses who are
able-bodied and prepared for the future of
their field. Although all these careers differ
greatly in definition, they each hold one
thing in common- they contribute to society
in ways that benefit everyone! Whether you
want to brush up on your cooking skills,
capture the perfect moment in time, or
take care of a vulnerable person in need of
another set of hands, CTE is diverse in
opportunity and has it all.
