Located in Chile’s Curico valley, the Sagrada Familia Company, also known as Vinos Lautaro, was
established in 1997 when sixteen small-scale grape producers formed a cooperative boutique winery,
incorporating a total of 180 hectares of vineyards.
Now a Fairtrade and sustainable cooperative, the association has grown over the years, providing fair
terms for trade while remaining committed to producing high-quality wines.
Winemaker Fernando Torres has been a Dedicated to promoting the social and
member of the Chilean Association of economic development of the community,
Oenologists since 1975. He worked for 20 years Vinos Lautaro have invested Fairtrade
at San Pedro Winery and has been a Consultant premiums in education, health and training
Oenologist since 1995, working with wineries in programmes. Special support is also given in
Colchagua and Maule. Fernando became times of need, for example for the repair of
winemaker for Vinos Lautaro in 2000. houses destroyed or damaged during the 2010
earthquake.
