Salice Salentino
It is produced mostly with the grapes of Negroamaro and some
Malvasia Nera from Lecce. The DOP falls among the areas from
Salento and Ionian sea, covering the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce, an
area with secular wine-growing tradition.
Ruby red in colour; a very rich and elegant wine with a pleasantly
fruity, full-bodied taste and delicate tannins.
Passitivo Primitivo
Made from Primitivo grapes that have been dried on the vine
It is a full-bodied, rich and powerful wine. It has an intense
ruby red colour. The nose is complex with aromas of over-ripe
cherries, raspberries, redcurrants, plum spices and chocolate.
On the palate, there are flavours of dried fruit, slight raisin
character, plums, damsons and a hint of spice.
Primitivo di Manduria
Deep ruby red colour; this marvellous wine has a very intense bouquet
of cherry and black cherry, pleasantly spicy; on the palate, the wine’s
considerable structure, is delightfully flavour some and very well
balanced with excellent length. Pasta dishes with tomato sauces, red
meats and game.
