Founded in 1385, The Antinori family have been making wine for 27 generations. The Marchese Piero
Antinori rejuvinated the family business in the 1970s by creating icon wines such as Tignanello and Solaia
and investing heavily in vineyards and winemaking. Antinori helped Italian wine gain credibility at the
highest level. They now not only own several estates in their core regions of Tuscany and Umbria but also
Prunotto in Piedmont and Toramaresca in Puglia.

The Antinori philosophy is to create single estates that
reflect the very best from their terroir with wines that are
stylish, elegant and always with drinkability.
Piero Antinori has spent a lifetime trying to make Tuscan
Sangiovese a world class variety, sometimes blending it with
Cabernet and Merlot, using great terroir or simply by using
