The Fèvre family have worked in Chablis for 250 years, the Domaine William Fèvre was founded in 1959,
they established an exceptional estate by acquiring many of the best Chablis vineyards. There is over 47
hectares in total of which half are Premier Cru and Grands Cru, the largest array of Grands Crus (15%)
which benefit from ideal conditions to produce excellent Chablis.
Organically farmed but not certified organic.
Winemaker Didier Séguier originally trained at Bouchard Père et Fils and is now credited with the
remarkable improvements seen at William Fèvre since 1998.
William Fevre no longer use new oak barrels in their wine making to show the purity of the Chablis style.
The old barrels come from a plentiful supply at sister house Bouchard Père et Fils.
