Giesen Estate Pinot Gris
Initially aromas of candied pear and quince, followed by a
subtle floral lift with lavender. Spiced pear, waxy, supple,
textural, bright acidity, persistent flavour and mouthfeel.
Giesen Estate Riesling
A refreshing palate of orange blossom and lime followed
by tangelo, honeysuckle and lavender. This wine is dense,
layered, succulent and powerful. Great focus and length of
flavour marked by an elegant, textural chalky acidity.
Giesen Estate August Barrel Fermented
Sauvignon Blanc
The August shows incredible lifted pure fruit, with
savoury and spicy nuance. The wine continues to evolve in
the glass. Its palate is succulent, well-balanced with
wonderful fruit flavour and a focused, firm texture. Pure
flavour overlaid with ‘hot rock’ minerality on the palate
adds to its power and length.
Giesen Small Batch Pinot Noir
Forest floor and spice notes, combine with cassis,
currants and dark cherry. Dense fruit weight with bright fruit
forward expressions, assertive and focussed tannins. This
wine has stunning structure and poise with wonderful
length.
Clayvin Pinot Noir
Aromas of bright blueberry, blackberry, aniseed, followed by
warm earth and cedar.
Palate brooding blend of dense black fruits, bramble, earth
and liquorice with ripe supple tannin, combining to produce
a taut palate in its youth, but ensure structure as it ages.
