Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough
Pale lemon coloured, there is a blend of gooseberry, lemon and ripe
tropical fruits on the nose. The full bodied and slightly chalky textured
palate shows some tropical notes along with grassy flavours, well
balanced by the natural crisp acidity. Great with shellfish, goats cheese,
sweet vegetables.
Stoneburn Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough
Exuberant nose of passion fruit, guava and gooseberry.
Fruity yet fresh and bone dry. Great with Spicy cous cous.
Mild Indian and Thai dishes.
Riesling, Marlborough
Pale lemon with green and gold tints, the nose shows
citrus and floral fruit aromas and a hint of spice. Medium
bodied and intense, the palate is fruity and dry, with
mineral and lime flavours mingling with floral and spice
notes. Serve with smoked fish, scallops or trout.
Pinot Noir, Marlborough
Deep ruby coloured, with a nose full of black cherry,
raspberry and spice. The palate is rich and creamy, with
refreshing acidity and very smooth tannins. Ideal with duck
dishes and roast game birds. Works well with grilled game
fish and with washed rind cheeses.
Stoneburn Pinot Noir, Marlborough
Supple and juicy with plenty of red fruit pinot character,
supple tannins and fine acidity. Grilled poultry and
feathered game. Plain roasted red meats.
NV MiruMiru, Marlborough
58% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir, 9% Pinot Meunier. Pale
straw coloured with a creamy leesy nose backed by aromas
of white peach and lemon. The palate is quite rich and
fruity, with yeasty flavours mingling with red fruits and
citrus followed by a toasty gentle finish. Fine aperitif or with
shellfish or smoked salmon blinis.
