blackberry, violet and spice. Ripe dark berry fruit and cassis, spiced cherries,
minerals and blueberry all balance with fresh acidity and a fine gentle tannin
structure.
TORBRECK STEADING BLANC
Inspired by the rich, luscious & mineral scented dry whites, Torbreck Steading
blanc is a blend of Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne
Grapes for this wine are sourced from the Descendant Vineyard in Marananga,
Barossa Valley, which were planted on own roots in 1994
Tasting note: Fragrant aromas of acacia flowers, roasted nuts and buttered citrus
are neatly balanced with underlying hints of bees wax, minerals, chalk and fino.
The ripe, fleshy barrel fermented Viognier and Marsanne gives the palate
extraordinary richness whilst the Roussanne contributes its more flinty and
austere personality.
