A Private Pool Villa in a Romantic Sphere
O nce I was in the lobby in the chaotic moments at check out

and check in periods, I saw all team members taking care

of customers’ billings for check out and new check in
registrations. All were fully occupied. As usual at that kind of a
situation, the reception desk is left unattended. A team member may
go forth and back to answer the phone when ringing, while doing

check in or check out. Given that situation, I would rather take over
the reception desk to sit there and answer the phone if it rang.

By doing that, my team could focus on doing their jobs in the

chaotic moments more attentively. I don’t want to let a single thing
distract their unobstructed attention. Giving your laser focus
intentionally on what you are doing can amaze a customer experience.

Suddenly, a phone was ringing. I immediately picked it up to

answer it. A customer in house was asking for a drop off shuttle service
to a nearby restaurant, Slippery Stone, a famed seafood restaurant, I
was so glad to confirm it by trying to advise her that she had to be

careful when walking sooner she got there.

She asked me why, I told her that the stones up there were
slippery. She laughed. She just realized that I made a joke over the

phone conversation.
