How to Wash a Car
You will need:
• A car - a wash mitt
• Two bucket of water - one or two towels
• A few sponges - some car wash detergent
• A hose - a brush
Step one: Mud, dirt, rain, and even salt sprinkle on icy roads can attach themselves to the
surface of your car as you drive. While you might not notice these at first, over time, the
minerals that are in them can cause damage to your paint job. For this reason, it’s important
to take time to have your car washed on a regular basis. Begin by filling your bucket with
water. While it is filling, make sure to put a decent amount of car wash detergent into the
bucket along with sponges and the wash mitt. After it is done, fill another bucket with plain
water to use as a rising bucket.
Step two: Next, begin to hose down the car, this will loosen the dirt on the car. You have
to make sure to do this step very well as you do not want to scratch your car later while
scrubbing.
Step three: the wheels on your car are quite often the messiest, dirtiest part of your car
so, make sure to scrub them with a brush thoroughly to get all of the dirt on the wheels.
Step four: begin to scrub your car with a washing mitt, before so, make sure to soak your
sponge in the soapy water and begin applying it to the car. Make sure not to scrub the car
with the brush as this will leave paint scratches.
Step five: scrub all the sections of the car clean. Make sure to leave the front of the car
for last as it is regularly the dirtiest section of the car. Once clean, use the hose to rinse the
car down. Removing the rest of the loose dirt from the car.
