Conclusion
The development of interfaith dialogue in Malaysia
has evolved significantly over the centuries, shaped by its
colonial history, ethnic diversity, and evolving governmental
policies. From informal beginnings to institutionalised
efforts, Malaysia continues to build on its pluralistic society
by fostering interfaith understanding and cooperation. The
involvement of NGOs, higher education institutions, and
government agencies has played a crucial role in creating a
framework for peaceful coexistence, ensuring that Malaysia
remains a model for interfaith dialogue in the region.
Through ongoing efforts, Malaysia is not only
addressing its own challenges but also contributing to the
global discourse on religious tolerance, multiculturalism,
and national unity.
