The BUDDHA Buddha’s Teaching
The BUDDHA
佛陀的教诲

The Buddha continued as a teacher for many years, gathering a group of
followers. The heart of Buddhist philosophy lies in its three key principles
called Tiratana or known as the “Three Jewels”.
The first is the life and experiences of Gautama Buddha himself where we
are encouraged to model our approach to life around his life examples. The
Buddha being a human is no different from us. He inspires himself to seek
an answer to life’s sufferings: the realities
of Birth, Old Age, Diseased and Death. The Buddha’s famous quote is: “The
mind is everything. What you think you become.” He eventually found the
way out of suffering in The Four Noble Truths and The Noble Eightfold Path
which lead to the attainment of Nibbana.

It distinguishes very sharply from other religions is that the Buddha
taught that each of us is entirely and solely responsible for our own lives and
our own salvation; no one else can be responsible.
