Year of Inscription: 1982
According to history, this site was selected
by King Kasyapa in the 5th Century AD for
his new capital. He built his palace on the
top of this rock and decorated its sides
with colourful frescoes.
Lion Rock is a palace built in the city of
Sigiriya in Sri Lanka. It is a natural wonder
built on the orange-red rock, and it is a
man-made wonder that has impressed the ⻦瞰狮⼦岩 Sigiriya (法国 France: 2013)
world.
