                   Where,

                    −  Rx = the reading of the absorbance of the color derived from 2 ml of
                        unknown tincture
                    −  R 100 = the reading of the absorbance of the color derived from 2 ml of
                        the tincture of standardized Digitalis powder.
                    −  R 50 = the reading of the absorbance of the color derived from I ml of


                        the tincture of standardized Digitalis powder.
