• Odour: camphor-like odour
• N.B Isoborneol: is not a natural compound but probably a synthetic

• Uses: Antiseptic, diuretic and prevent calculi formation.

1) Borneol is readily oxidized to camphor using CuO but isoborneol is not
oxidized
