La Bolsa
Finca La Bolsa is a coffee plantation founded in 1958 in La Libertad, Huehuetenango, Guatemala.
La Bolsa plantations are managed under 3 main principles consistent with Snooze beliefs.
Finca La Bolsa is “Rainforest Alliance” certified. The farm has a school and nursery with fully trained, full-time
teachers. Sections of the farm are reserved to promote biodiversity, reduce exposure to winds and social
erosion. Inga trees are used as shade trees and fix nitrogen in the soil which is essential for plant and cherry
growth. La Bolsa has an expansive composting operation to make use of waste products using redworms.
