Situation in Egypt

Informal areas in Egypt include a wide range of housing patterns,
such as the government's emergency shelter, old and neglected

buildings and slums.

 WHO (2016) estimated there are approximately 48% of Egypt’s

population are living in slum conditions, three of the 30 mega slums
around the world are found in Egypt (Imbaba and Ezbet El-Haggana
