               Family Health Nursing Process

                      It is  orderly systematic steps  to assess and analyze  family  health
               needs, plan, implement and evaluate available services to achieve family

               health.

               Steps of the family nursing process


                      The family nursing process is the application of the generic nursing
               process grounded in knowledge of family nursing and family history
































               Family Health Assessment:


                      It is the most critical step in the nursing process because it directs
               the whole problem-solving process. This phase includes collection and
               analysis of data to determine family profile and make family diagnosis


               Data collection categories for family health assessment:

                      Data collection is focused on both identification of problem areas
               and strengths of the family.

               1-  Family demographics.

               2-  Physical environment data.
               3-  Psychological and spiritual environment.

               4-  Family structure and roles.

               5-  Family function.

               6-  Family values and beliefs.
