It was as if it was meant to be written but not shared until
now. I have waited a while to find the right time to share
this track, and it seemed really fitting to put it on as a B
side to “Honky Tonk Southern Sky." ps Evey had long red
hair, so it was fitting there was a reference to the Willies
album I referred to earlier.

How did you collaborate with Boy George on "The
Voice Australia," and what impact did it have on your
music career?

The Voice Australia had a huge impact on my career, but
more personally than professionally. It showed me that I
was capable of so much more that I was able to perform

under the big lights of TV and big production. It was
George who said, “I deserved to be where I was and that I
had all I needed to be successful; I just had to give myself

permission and let go of the past.” The show helped me
see that I already had the capability. I'm just waiting on
the world to catch up on what so many others already
know, like Boy George.

What message do you hope to convey through your
music?

I don’t think this question is for me to answer really
because my story is a human story, and for me, what I
convey through my music is human life in all its glorious
mess, and it's for the listener to decide what it conveys to
them. To me, each song is a moment of my truth at that
time, and I would hope that those moments convey love,
resilience, hope, faith, recovery, family, and God. Yet
tomorrow it could all mean something else, but for all
purposes, let's keep it to that for now.

How do you feel your music transcends generations,
and what unique aspects contribute to that?

Honestly, I can’t answer this because I just don’t know. I
guess I will only know the answer to this question if I ever
get to chat with all those who have influenced me and my
music.
