Narrative: The Covenant With Many
“Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God
shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him. Little children, yet a little while I am
with you. Ye shall seek me: And as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye can not come; so now I say to
you. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also
love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and break it, and gave it to the
disciples, and said,
“Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to
them: saying, Drink ye all of it;”
And they all drank of it. And he said unto them,
“For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
But verily I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it
new with you in my Father’s Kingdom the kingdom of God.” Ω
