Officers Liability policy.
Ans. Some important exclusions are as follows: the
Underwriters shall pay any loss arising from any claim,
(a) where legal action or litigation is brought in a court
of law within the Excluded Territories stated in the
Schedule.
(b) to the extent that an indemnity or payment is
available from any source, other than this policy.
(c) for any actual or alleged bodily injury, sickness,
disease and death of any person or any actual or
alleged damage to, or destruction of intangible
property including loss of use.
(d) arising out of, any actual or alleged seepage,
pollution or contamination of any kind, provided,
however, that Underwriters shall pay on behalf of
the Directors and Officers Costs and Expenses
incurred in any investigation, examination, enquiry,
court of law or other proceedings ordered or
commissioned by any official body within UK,
Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel
Islands in respect of any Wrongful Act, up to the
specified limit, and not in addition to, the Limit of
