Liability Insurance Act 1991 ?
Ans. The claims procedure is as follows :
The Collector, having jurisdiction over the area in which
the accident occurs, is empowered to hold an enquiry
into any claim under the Act and to make an award of
relief.
The application for claim of relief may be made in
prescribed form by :
1. The person who has sustained the injury.
2. By the legal representatives of the deceased, in the
event of death.
3. By the owner of the property damaged in the
accident.
4. By any agent duly authorised by the persons
claiming relief.

Underwriting a Public Liability (Industrial risk)
proposal ?
Ans. Repeat of Q5 of May 2007
Some of the major items of information in the proposal
form are :
1. Declaration that the statements and particulars are
true.
2. The name and business address of the proposer.
