by the site management either immediately or over a
given period.
n Checklists / Questionnaires
l A possible alternative to the actual site visit is completion
of a checklist or some sort of questionnaire, designed for
eliciting information.
l Once a checklist / questionnaire is prepared the risk
manager can send it for completion by someone at the
site / plant.
l The form must be clear and unambiguous in every detail
and the questions must be capable of being answered by
the site people.
l Different types of checklists can be used for different
purposes
