         Karnataka Bank has promoted Shri Muralidhar Krishna Rao as General Manager

                           Karnataka Bank has promoted Shri Muralidhar Krishna Rao as General Manager from the post of
                           Deputy GM. Shri Muralidhar Krishna Rao, native of Mangaluru, is a Graduate in Commerce and an
                           Associate Chartered Accountant.
                           He started his career in the Bank in 1991 as an officer and has rich experience spanning over two and
                           half decades in various capacities and at various centres, both at operational and administrative lev-
                           els. He was elevated to the cadre of Chief Manager in 2004 and initially served in the Bank's Credit
           Muralidhar Krishna  Department and later headed the New Delhi - Connaught Place branch and then posted to the Trea-
                Rao        sury & Accounts Department at HO. He was elevated to the position of Assistant General Manager
         in 2010. Shri Muralidhar was promoted as Deputy General Manager in March 2013 and has been heading the HO-Trea-
         sury and Accounts Department of the Bank since then.

         Saraswat Bank gets new MD
         Saraswat Bank, largest lender in the cooperative space, has appointed Smita Sandhane as its Manag-
         ing Director. Sandhane was serving as the chief financial officer, and takes over from S K Banerji who
         retired recently, the bank said. She was serving as the joint managing director since August 2016, and
         has served as head of whole sale banking and planning, accounts and stressed assets in the past.

                           New Executive Director of Bank of Maharashtra

                           Shri Alekh C. Rout has joined as the Executive Director of Bank of Maharashtra for a period of three
                           years starting March 31, 2017. Alekh C. Rout has a prolific career in banking, spanning 34 years,
                           starting as a Probationary Officer in the State Bank of Hyderabad in 1983. Prior to his appointment
                           at the Bank of Maharashtra, he served as the Chief General Manager of Commercial Banking in the
                           State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur and has also worked with Sate Bank of Hyderabad and State Bank
             Alekh C. Rout  of Patiala in various capacities across the industry. Shri Alekh Rout holds a degree of M.Sc. in Physics
         and an MBA in Finance.
         New MD of LIC Hemant Bhargava

         Hemant Bhargava has taken charge as Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India. He
         was the Head of Northern Zone comprising Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu &
         Kashmir, Haryana States and Union Territory of Eastern Zone comprising of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam,
         Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and West Bengal States and Union Terri-

                           Tarun Chugh appointed as MD & CEO of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance

                           Bajaj Allianz Life is pleased to announce the appointment of Tarun Chugh as its Managing Director
                           and CEO with effect from 1st April, 2017. Tarun passed out as an engineer from IIT Delhi and com-
                           pleted his post graduation from IIM, Lucknow. A seasoned industry veteran, he has over 22 years of
                           experience in financial services, including over twelve and a half years of experi-
                           ence in the Indian Life Insurance sector.

         P Chandrasekaran appointed as Director of OIL

         P. Chandrasekaran has taken over as director (exploration and development) of Oil India Limited (OIL),
         India's second largest National Exploration and Production Company, on April 1, 2017. Chandrasekaran
         started his career with ONGC at Mumbai as an Operations Geologist in 1984.               P Chandrasekaran
