(iii) Neglect of situations where litter or trade waste
can accumulate, and into which cigarette ends,
lighted matches or other sources of ignition can be
dropped.
(iv) Congestion in storage of stocks , plant and machinery
etc, or insufficient floor space.
(v) Failure to provide the appropriate safeguards in
the storage and usage of hazardous materials.
(vi) The installation of unsuitable types of heating
and lighting arrangements.
(vii)Failure to safeguard all supplies of power,
lighting and heating when the premises are left
unattended.
(viii) Fire extinguishing appliances either not
provided for, or are insufficient in number,
not properly distributed or maintained.
(ix) Buildings, boundary walls etc in poor state of
repair, and thus vulnerable to external fires.
