The cover under this extension will however not
pay for damage or liability when the vehicle is
being transported to these countries. Third party
liability will be as per the law of the respective
countries. This extension can be granted at a
premium of Rs. 100/- for Liability Only policy and
Rs. 500/- for Package Policy.

There are following add-ons available to motor package
policy, however practice differs insurer to insurer:
A: Personal Accident covers for Owner-driver:

This cover is compulsorily given to owners of
individually owned vehicles other than vehicles
insured under commercial vehicles trade risk
policies. The owner must be holding an effective
driving licence.

The cover is provided to the owner-driver whilst
driving the vehicle including mounting or
dismounting from or traveling in the insured
vehicle. The scope of cover and sum insured is
as follows:
Death, loss of 2 limbs or two eyes or loss of 1 limb
& sight of one eye or
