Partial losses under valued policies are settled in the
same manner as an ordinary policy. For e.g, A new piece
being replaced for a lost or worn out part attracts
depreciation.

(ii) On duty- off duty cover in personal Accident
insurance- (a) On Duty cover - If the Personal Accident
cover is required only for the restricted hours of duty
and not for 24 hours, the premium is reduced to 75%.
This covers accidents to the employees arising in the
course of employment only. (b) Off Duty cover - If the
Personal Accident cover is required only for the restricted
hours when the employee is not on duty, the premium is
reduced to 50%.

(iii) Good feature discount in poultry insurance - A
discount not exceeding 5% is allowed if the farm is having
any of the five good features listed below : (a) Farms
having Resident/own Veterinary Doctors. (b) Farms with
layer flock size of 10,000 batch and above or Farms
with broiler flock size of 5000 batch and above. (c)Farms
