advised me to give him in writing to perform those functions immediately
and if he does not obey the office order I could tell him that he should
be ready to move from this branch near his home town to a distant
branch in Jammu & Kashmir where there is an immediate vacancy. If he
behaved irrationally, he would not be kept there. The very next day, I gave
him the written order and he started functioning as per order.
Of course, I did not convey him everything that the Zonal Manager had
asked me to convey to him in the interest of cordial work culture here
when he did not resist the written order this time. Once he made a
mistake of paying excess amount of cash to some customer in cash
department and I supported him unconditionally to recover the loss.
Fortunately, he changed his general behavior for the better, since then.
