Analysis of
Colonoscopies
The mean duration of the thirty six colonoscopies was 994,00 seconds “sd=493,21”.
The results of postural profile analysis of doctors performing colonoscopies shown
that neutral cervical posture was adopted in 93% of the analyzing time and cervical
extension postures with forward position of upper limbs during 24,6% of the time. The
frequency analysis at the saggittal plane shown that the alternance of postures occurs
mainly between neutral position and cervical extension. The frequency of cervical
extension posture with forward position of upper limbs (postural categorie 3) was about
1,36 times per minute.
