Postural The postural profile analysis has lead to the definition of twelve
postural categories at the saggittal plane and seven postural
categories at the horizontal plane for each type of examination,
upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy
The postural categories were based on the analysis of the range of
movements at cervical level, trunk and upper limbs. The two types
of examinations at the saggittal plane have had different postural
categories selected.
At the horizontal plane the postural categories included at
the panel were similar.
