The media literacy is the result of media education.
the terms “information competence” and “media competence” are more
accurate in denoting the individual’ abilities to use, critically analyze,
evaluate, and communicate media messages of various types, forms, and
categories and to analyze complex information processes and media
               functioning in society

During the lessons, play activities are often used (especially with younger
children), students perform creative tasks (making a short video film, a

How do you conduct media education in your teaching?

Now we move forward to our first exercise
A personal task to everybody: you are given the task to choose the best
imageq which presents you at most; if you have to choose a visualizing, an

The teacher said that one of her best media education lesson was a
whole-class game called “Who is a media expert?” The class splits into
2 teams. The teacher was a moderator and asked questions concerning
media culture (genres, famous media texts, their authors, etc.). The
teams had to answer them. And the second part of the game required
expressing creative skills of the pupils (collages, etc.).

She/he also has an opportunity to conduct extra-curricular media classes
with her pupils (usually these are games or competitions on the theme of
               media culture).
Literary imitation assignments for the analysis of media characters
               Dramatic role-playing assignments
