G od, in His Divine Providence chose Saint Joseph, who was the
descendant of David, to be the spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He was
obedient and in all humility said, ‘yes’, without questioning. Next to our Blessed
Mother, he was the greatest of saints. His ‘yes’ changed the world. He was head
of the Holy Family - their protector and provider. Saint Joseph was the foster
father of Jesus. He was also Jesus’s teacher and he taught by example.
God, in His Divine Providence,
chose Mary, above all women to be the
Mother of God. Our Blessed Mother
Mary is the Immaculate Conception.
She alone, out of all humanity was
conceived without original sin.
The Blessed Virgin Mary in
all humility was obedient to God.
She had free will as we all do and
without understanding she freely
said yes to God. Her ‘yes’ changed
the world.
Our Christian lineage and
history are found through Mary.
By her fidelity and obedience, God
used her to bring salvation to
mankind through the incarnation
of Christ, the Son of God. The
Blessed Virgin Mary is greater
than all the saints. She is the
Mother of God.
