                                            The institute responds to the market needs and requirements by

                                            including latest concepts and newer technology that can save time and
                                            increaseproductivity.

                                            In order to meet the ever increasing demand for developing skilled

                                            workforce in the construction industry, our CSTIs have time to time
                                            initiated joint ventures with vocational training institutes across the

                                            country to train rural youth.
                                            Eligibility criteria



                                                   a)Educationqualification
                                                   For Masonry, Formwork Carpentry and Bar bending, the
                                                   minimumqualification is ClassV.
                                                   For Pipe fitter, welding and Industrial Electrician the minimum
                                                   qualification is ITI.


                  b)Age
                  Forall trades, the candidates mustbe above18 years.


                  c)Physical standards
                  Minimum height       :       155 cms
                  Minimum weight       :       45 kgs



           Trainingmethodology
           The structured residential program in various Construction related trades is 80% practical oriented and
           20%classroom training.
           Indoor workshops are set up for welding, electrical and pipe fitter trades, while outdoor yards were used for
           formwork carpentry, masonry and bar bending. The pipe fitter trade additionally has a semi-open
           workshop for specific tasks that required adequate ventilation. All practical training facilities were
           equipped with fire extinguishers and trainees were mandated to wear safety equipment such as gloves,
           helmets and harnesses while accessing them.
           The Centre's timing are from 8 am to 8 pm every day, ensuring that trainees get used to long days of work.
           Thereis astrongfocus ondiscipline at theInstitute.


           Otherfacilities
           Adoctoris also attachedwith theInstitute to monitorthehealth ofthetrainees.
