Brick wall Thickness

The thickness of brickwall is described relative to the brick length, so the thickness of wall goes

up in half brick steps starting with a half brick.

Half brick wall

Thickness of wall is equal to half the length of full brick. It is built using stretcher bond. Some-
times called as 5 inch wall

Full brick wall

Thickness of wall is equal to one times the length of full brick. It is sometimes called as 10 inch
wall.

One and half brick wall

Thickness of wall is equal to 1.5 times the length of full wall. It is sometimes called as 15 inch
wall.

And so on, so the next is a 2 brick wall (20 inch wall) and then a 2½ brick wall (25 inch wall)
